Xiaomi announced record-breaking deliveries of over 50,000 units in December, bringing 2025 deliveries to over 400,000. Xiaomi launched its first model, the SU7 sedan, on March 28, 2024, in Beijing, with deliveries starting in April.
Xiaomi doesn’t share exact figures, only stating that deliveries exceeded 50k in December. According to China EV Datatracker, which monitors brand deliveries in China, Xiaomi delivered 361,625 cars in January-November, bringing its total 2025 deliveries to over 400k. China EV DataTracker will publish the exact December data on January 15.
In November, Xiaomi delivered 46,249 cars in China, up 99.7% from the same month the previous year. Of them, 33,729 were YU7 SUVs, and 12,520 were SU7 sedans.
YU7 SUV is Xiaomi’s second model, launched in June 2025, to compete with the Tesla Model Y. Today, Xiaomi CEO and founder Lei Jun announced that YU7 has reached the 150,000-unit delivery milestone six months after its launch.
Xiaomi reportedly plans to launch two new models in 2026 and two SU7 updates. The two new models will be EREVs: one a large 7-seater SUV and the other a 5-seater SUV. The updated SU7 will be one facelifted 2026 and one premium executive version.
Xiaomi sells cars only in China, with plans to expand to Europe in 2027, as Xiaomi president Lu Weibing confirmed the company is validating its vehicles for EU use in Germany.
