The Rotary Club of Campbellford will be hosting a Gala on Nov 29th in support of the new hospital. Rotarians will be hosting several fundraising activities over the next few years to raise funds for the new hospital.
The committee of Doug and Bev Spencer, Tom Dafoe and Bruce Benedict have planned a wonderful evening of food and entertainment.

The event starts at 5 p.m. and goes to 11. The evening will kick off with a delicious meal catered by Betty Wickman of Sharpe’s Market with Jeremy Mahoney will provide entertainment thorough the dinner.

Next up will be the auction. Spencer said there are several wonderful prizes to bid on. Some of the items are tickets to a Maple Leaf’s game, an electric fireplace, a ride on Massey Ferguson tractor, a Christmas quilt, two nights at a local Bed and Breakfast, a farm tour with the opportunity to milk a cow and a home-made meal, a boat ride with snacks and more. A great way to get some Christmas shopping done.
When the auction is done Disc jockey Bert Schutler will provide music for the remainer of the evening.
The gala takes place upstairs at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 103, Campbellford. Tickets are $75 per person which includes a $30 tax receipt.
